The Oldham Project Experience

The Oldham Project was initiated in 2008 as a tribute to the strength and courage demonstrated by two sisters who suffered and perished from breast cancer. It focuses on documenting the lives of anyone suffering from life threatening or terminal illinesses by providing free portrait sessions to them. An Oldham Experience includes: ````

Jennifer Ann Rahn's "Oldham Project Experience" occured on July 7, 2014. She was a talented amateur photographer and this, combined with her deep concern about her life's existence being quickly forgotten, made her portrait session with a professional photographer especially meaningful. Three other members of her immediate family (Brother, Mother and Father) also participated in the session. Subsequently, Jennifer received a CD-ROM disk containg six unique copy-right free (this differs from the current "Experience") high-quality portrait images. Three of them are presented here. Efforts were taken to provide a similar opportunity in the Lanark Area/Carroll County but these were thwarted by an apparent lack of interest and the inability to identify an organization willing to provide operational implementation support for such a "project!"
